It's no secret: I took a short hiatus from posting on my blog this summer. I’ve done a little blogging this fall, but have kept the pace a little slower. For an exciting reason: I’ve been busy writing and blogging for other websites instead.
First, I’ve been blogging for Consort Design, a Los Angeles-based interior design firm and store concept where I’ve been freelancing for about a year now. Part of a freshly redesigned Consort website, the blog features posts written by yours truly that help to add color to Consort’s playfully chic design aesthetic.
Second, I’ve been hard at work writing interior design trend stories as a Guest Editor for MyDomaine since May. You can find links to all my stories at the bottom of my author profile (yes, I have an author profile!) here.
In my opinion, these gigs only enhance the future of my own blog. Not only do I get to be a part of an exciting digital editorial and interior design world, but hopefully I’m learning to become a better writer in the process.
And in the meantime, I’ll continue to journal my lifestyle here, on The Steinitz. I’ll be looking forward to sharing my journey with you if you’re willing to follow along.
